I'm Kevin Cramer, I lead sales at Alkira. Alkira is a network-as-a-service provider. We're a series C startup. And, I've been in technology sales for about 20 years now. BEFORE EASYCOMP: Before EasyComp, we were using spreadsheets in order to keep track of deals and compensation. It was painful. It really was. And, I had to lead that charge for too many weekends and too many weekdays, trying to figure out what exactly we were doing from the payouts and the compensation plans. WHY EASYCOMP? This past year, we realized that we couldn't continue to scale on the operations side and have an efficient compensation structure and do it on our own. So we started to look at other tools in the market. And, I have to say that after we looked at every tool that was out there, we determined that EasyComp met all our needs and also did things outside of the box that we weren't even aware of that were lacking for us as a company. BUSINESS VALUE FROM EASYCOMP For me personally, as, the VP of sales, I think that I gained a lot of time back. I would say somewhere between 5 and 10 hours on a quarterly basis. And then again, when we talk about the reps, no one wants to spend time trying to figure out if they're getting paid correctly. I think that the time that they were able to get back towards selling, was really beneficial to them as well. You're always looking to have our back, always making sure that, you know, we're on time with everything we're doing from a compensation standpoint. WOULD YOU RECOMMEND EASYCOMP? I'm Adam Claypool, I'm VP of revenue operations for Carrum Health. I've been here about almost five years, about seven years in health care altogether. And have been doing revenue operations compensation for over a decade now. Before EasyComp we had everything in our CRM system, Salesforce, but it was really driven out of Excel. There were several things that we were trying to solve for. For one, visibility to the plan participants really understanding when they closed something, what is that payment going to look like? What is the timing of that payment going to look like? Rep visibility was a big piece. Another thing that we wanted to do is we wanted to get away from things that were prone to have human error and get something that was more systematic. The implementation of EasyComp was really what would call world class. We went from initial scoping, conversation, contract signature process and to implementation in a very, very short period of time. I was absolutely thrilled with the work that the EasyComp team did. This is a smart team that understands variable compensation. There was not a lot of explanation that needed to happen. They just — even if we thought it might be complicated, nothing's too complicated for the EasyComp team. They were able to get this rolled out very quickly and very efficiently in a very accurate way as well. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The feedback was, this is something I've been craving. And this, you know, there wasn't a whole lot of … we did a very short training, but the system's pretty intuitive. One person in particular on our team that is very, very, very analytical — and when I did not get any questions from that individual, I knew that we had hit a home run. What I would tell other leaders is, you know, and look, I've, I've taken demos with other compensation tools in the past and even to get to a point where I could see a usable demo was going to be quite a lift for that team. The EasyComp team was able to get me a demo with our plans and our commission model in like a week — under a week, actually — and it felt tailored. It felt like, okay, that gave us great confidence that these guys can roll our plans out. I think, you know, for any leader that is hesitating on rolling out a solution, generally it's because this is going to take a lot of work to roll out. That was something we didn't face with EasyComp at all. It was just a very, very impressive process. And I would definitely recommend it to other leaders looking at potential solutions.
